I can’t even begin to describe how much I appreciate this app. So many people on random website say things are “safely gluten free,” even with shared fryers and other decidedly unsafe practices. The care Gluten Dude puts in to separating 100% GF/celiac-safe recommendations vs places that take precautions but are shared is a game changer. Well worth the money and a GREAT way to explore GF destinations around the world!

Unlike others, Gluten Dude and his team are committed to evaluating and honestly publishing the details of GF abilities at establishments. Their dedication to the GF community is amazing. This app is my go to for safe places to eat and drink. And everyone I share the app with loves it. If you haven’t tried it, you are missing out on a world of dining possibilities vetted by a team that knows what GF means and tells it like it is.

Best App for the Celiac Community!
This app by far has been the best tool in our arsenal for navigating safe food options, both close to home and while traveling. The recent addition of airports, plus the regular new restaurants have especially helped my teen while traveling without us. Gluten Dude has a reputation in the Celiac community for telling it like it is, and not doing what’s “popular.” We appreciate his candor, and commitment to making this app the best it can be.

No Hidden Agenda
This app is run by a fellow celiac who doesn’t take endorsements from corporations or products, like many others, which keeps reviews and information honest. Gluten Dude understands the daily struggles we have and created the app to help others with their #celiaclife. Updates are frequent and new restaurants are often added and users alerted. I have other gf apps too but this one is the GOLD STANDARD! A must have for all celiacs.

Favorite App for Finding GF Food!
I have celiac, and it can be tough to rely on reviews of gluten free options at different restaurants. I really appreciate this app’s clear levels for safety — dedicated gluten free, vetted by the app team, and user suggested. With that, you can see at a glance which restaurants are likely the most safe for you, and you can even filter out the levels you’re not comfortable with. This app is my first stop when looking for a safe restaurant, and I highly recommend it!

Safety Vetting Worth Every Penny
Eating at restaurants and traveling with Celiac disease is difficult and nerve-wracking. There’s no substitute for rigorous investigation from someone more socially comfortable asking pointed questions than I am. Such vetting must have costs if being done well, and I’d much rather help pay for that directly than I would have them rely on ads or other incentive-distorting business models.

My Favorite Gluten Free App!
I cannot say enough good things about this app. It has helped me so much when I travel and am not familiar with the area. I have used the airport list as well which really helps when you are in a huge airport and are rushing to find food. I REALLY appreciate that Scott vets the restaurants for safety. Helping Me Travel
This app helps me plan my travels. I have to know ahead whether I need to cook my own meals, or if I will be able to eat out safely. I have celiac disease and multiple other food sensitivities, and I appreciate knowing how thoroughly places have been checked for possible gluten contamination. This is my go-to app for finding safe places to eat. “Gluten-friendly” restaurants are not safe for people with Celiac and Gluten Dude gets to the truth. Really appreciate the effort. Super helpful app. Bought a lifetime sub so I never have to be without it!

As someone with food allergies, I can never rely on other apps or sites where someone says, “It didn’t make me sick, so it must be safe.” With the Gluten Dude app, I trust that he truly vets the restaurant for cross-contamination, dedicated facilities, and safety—this alone alleviates any stress or fears of getting sick or having an allergic reaction to wheat/gluten. Gluten Dude is by far the most trustworthy source for gluten free people. He has a no nonsense approach to gluten free safety, which is needed by so many with celiac and other diseases. I find that the Gluten Dude app is much more reliable than other apps that find gluten free places. I would give this app 10 stars if I could!!!
