Born in 2019 out of a tiny home kitchen in Mount Vernon, Iowa, Thistle’s Summit has become the largest plant-based + gluten-free bakery in central Iowa. Queer and woman-owned. Specializing in allergy-friendly baked goods that taste nothing like a compromise. Everything we produce is made with love and is totally gluten-free, vegan, and dairy free. Open Thursday-Sunday 10am-4pm IMPORTANT DUDE NOTE: They make their products in a shared facility with gluten. From their website: All ingredients are certified GF, however they are produced in a shared-use facility where other tenants use gluten, dairy, wheat, eggs, tree and peanuts. Our kitchen is separated from these tenants but because the space is not certified as GF kitchen we have to warn you of cross- contamination.
