85 main was created with goal of offering fresh, quality seafood and steaks along with locally grown produce in an atmosphere one might expect to find in a ‘big’ť city. The emphasis is on fresh ingredients and cooked-to-order menu items. During the warmer months, the outdoor patio is open for dining. As the only raw bar in NE Connecticut, we take pride in our incredibly fresh seafood. Our shellfish is delivered 3x a week to ensure freshness and our raw bar choices vary according to the season and availability. We typically stock three to four different oyster varieties alongside our littleneck clams and colossal shrimp cocktail. Our Master Sushi Chef has created a sushi menu that includes classic Japanese items as well as his own innovative creations.
