Slightly North of Broad is an eclectic Lowcountry bistro that brings together an abundance of local ingredients and thoughtful, expert presentation with a friendly, contagious energy. Here the dining room is a natural extension of the kitchen, a place where culinary skill, a clever, considered wine program, warm service, and conversations meld together.
DUDE VETTING NOTE: Great response from their GM, as follows: ‘I’m glad you’ve heard great things about us, and we do take great care of our celiac guests! We do not have a separate prep area for gluten free foods, but all of our baked goods are prepared in a separate prep area which cuts down on cross contamination potential. We only have one fryer in the building, so unfortunately we do not have a separate gluten free one. There is also bread that goes on our grill, so any food from the fryer or grill would risk cross-contamination. That being said, we can cook pretty much anything in a pan for you, even if it would normally be grilled or fried. In that instance, we would use separate, clean pans and utensils for your food and be sure to change out gloves before touching it as well.’ * Many thank to @Meredith King for the suggestion!!
