DUDE VETTING NOTE: It always increases my confidence level when the owner has celiac. Here is what he told me – ‘I as well as many members of my family have celiac, so I always make sure to take the proper precautions when it comes to gluten free items. Most of our ingredients, soups and dishes are naturally gluten free, however we do use standard flour for a few of our chicken dishes, fried items and seafood items. With that being said, we do not have a dedicated fryer but we do use color coded cutting boards and utensils to be sure that cross contamination will not be an issue. Everything that is prepped with the regular flour and fryer items are all done on a separate prep table as well.’
